I have been to New York twice since Sep 11, 2001. The first time was 2 weeks after 9/11 and once again on May 7, 2007. I would like to share with you some of the photos I took at ground zero during my second visit.

We will never forget...
As I post this blog, snapshots of that day flash through my head. The first thing that I remember was getting the early morning phone call from Chris, who was back in the States, while I was soundly sleeping in my hotel room in Hawaii. "Turn on the TV", she said. And with that phone call my (our) world was forever changed. As with most people I assume, I remained glued to the TV for the next few days, wondering if it was all a dream (hoping it was all a dream). Unfortunately, the events were real and so many lives were changed forever. My heart goes out to all of the families who lost their loved ones.

Chokes me up everytime I think about it. Those photos at ground zero were painful to look at and impossible to look away from. Your flag photos at ground zero just after 9/11 would be an interesting thing to share on your blog. also those photos in the park in Paris
the phots were in Luxemborg gardens, in Paris
