A tribute to Fran - 1 March 2009

Where has the time gone? It can't possibly be one year since our little one passed away. Well, time has passed, healed some of the pain of having a loved one leave this earthly world, but she will never be forgotten.

She currently resides up on the fireplace mantle.


As you can see, we had her cremated. On top of her urn lays a "beanie baby" called "Nip", but renamed "Fran". This beanie baby used to travel with us when the real Fran could not travel. And on top of Fran is one of her birthday party hats, made by Chris. I am told by Chris that it was one of her favorite hats, not sure if that comment was shared by Fran though as she used to give us the "evil eye" when we attempted to dress her up for her birthday party.



It is my goal to post some photos of Fran throughout the month of March, paying tribute to such a wonderful companion and allowing us to remember the good times we shared with our faithful, furry, little friend.
