We took one of the many windy, country roads
out here in the hills of North Carolina
and spotted this prime photo opportunity....
This sign has always intrigued us...Now don't
you all go burying anyone without permission!
Hard at work in our garden....Well, what is
left of it after some hard rains. What we think
has survived: 2 rows of Sunflowers and 1 row
of peas
Here are some Roma tomato plants that
our neighbor kindly gave to us from his
garden. You can see the sunflowers and peas
in the background.
The neighbor's dog.....Lucy. At age 14, she
is getting a little hard of hearing, but still
considers herself the "watchdog" of the
neighborhood.
We had a visitor to our land....Our very own
"Steve Irwin" (Chris) identified this track as
a racoon's track.
On the way to our land, we spotted this critter...
Local Farmer's Market entertainment...
Ain't she cute....

Yes dear, I meant the baby on the
ground.
