that carries on a unique tradition, has been for
over 75 years. Here's a clue...
Not the liveliest quacker, made
of ivory I believe. More on this
at the end of this posting.
Care to sit on the throne?
Only in Memphis, baby!
You can't go to Memphis
without visiting this historic
street.
And here was our welcoming crew...
Found this statue in a small
park off Beale Street. It
was built in tribute to the
"Father of the Blues",
Mr. William Christopher Hand.
Probably one of the more
famous names in the
Blues business...
Plenty of food establishments to
choose from...
Funny, we ended up walking into
this one for food. It had the
most customers in it and live
music.
Ended up hearing some great
blues music and a very, very
interesting lady who was singing
the blues, but more interested in
the Pittsburgh Steelers game that
was on in the background.
Thought this was a funny shot. We
aren't in Kansas anymore Toto!
Took this photo outside the
FEDEX Forum, home of theMemphis Grizzlies.
To the delight of every young girl
in the crowd...Your carriage iswaiting.
Chris and I both wondered what was
up with this sign. Below is a link that
answers that question.
