Ah, to be back in the land of Superness.... I woke up from my late evening nap and had a hunkerin for pizza. I asked Chris for the time and she responded with "9:30pm". Humm, it is late on a Sunday night, are the pizza joints still serving? This would have been a non-starter in Norway. Chris surfed the net for local pizza places, as I didn't want to order from a chain pizza place "Dominos, Papa Johns, etc." She found two places, Mellow Mushroom (closing time 10:30) and The Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company (closing time 12 midnight). Well, by time we got around to getting motivated to go out it was 10:30pm and we really didn't feel like traveling across town to the brewing company place. In the meantime Chris was thinking of other plans...for example, what we needed for the new apartment...How about a trip to Walmart!!!
A quick search of the Internet and off we went to a 24 hour SUPERCENTER....wooo hoo! Oh yeah, we asked Ms. GPS (one of our new toys) to find the way. What a life saver for me, Mr. Non-Sense-Of-Direction. Best $400 dollars I have spent in many years.
Well, end result of our big late night out.....a couple of sets of hangers, a bath rug, some tea lights and this.....of note, I couldn't have pizza without beer (another non-starter in Norway - beer from a supermarket that late on a Sunday night).
